[캔사스조기유학]  캔사스에서 독도를 주제로  프로젝트 수업에서  수상한 예송학생 조기유학 이야기

 

 

캔사스에서 조기유학중인  예송학생이   학교 프로젝트 참여 수업에서 독도를 주제로 발표를 했다고 합니다.

 

프로젝트 수업에서 영광스러운 수상도 했고 , 미술로 강한  비숍시베리학교에서 자신의 초상화를 아주 멋지게

 

그려서  사진을 보내 왔네요.

 

1년 조기유학을 하면서  많은 긍정적인 변화가 있었던  학생 입니다.

 

정말  공부도 잘 하고,  미국 생활에 잘 적응하면서  캔사스에서 한국인의 긍정적인 힘을 미국인에게  전달 하는

 

에너지 있는 학생인듯 합니다.

 

여름방학때 한국 귀국후 다시  캔사스 조기유학을 지속할 계획이랍니다.

 

스터디유학에서 소개하는 조기유학 프로그램은 정말 ~~ 믿도 함께 하셔도 됩니다.

 

자녀의 안전과  자녀의 학업 그리고 미국대학 진학에 대한  안내를 체계적이고  정적으로 진행 합니다.

Yesong had a busy month.  It started with a super bowl party with a lot of my friends and children.  We watched the football game on a project screen.  It was an all american experience.  The next week we had three snow days.  School was cancelled due to inclement weather.  It was cold and we had 18 inches of snow to dig out of.  Some of the Korean students came to the house so they could all be snowed in together. 
The next weekend was valentines weekend.  Brittany, Jared, Braxton and Axah came for the weekend.  Braxton and Axah love their Aunt Yesong.  Yesong is so good to them.  We were busy just being together.  On top of having a house full this weekend, she also had a piano competition on Saturday.  The top 15 competitors would perform a recital Sunday.  Sadly, she did not make the top 15 but she was ok with not having one more thing to do. 

The next weekend all the Korean students spent the entire weekend together.  They all came Friday night and stayed through Sunday afternoon.  Yesong was a wonder hostess and made everybody feel welcome.  There was a lot of laughter and game playing.  Saturday day, they spent all day shopping downtown.  Saturday night we had a Korean meal together.  There were 14 people gathered around the table.  It was very loud and chaotic and wonderful. 

Yesong entered into a History Day competition.  She did a detailed history compilation and display board on Dokdo.   This also involved an interview from judges.  Her presentation won her an excellent.  She put in a lot of hours and care into this project.  She was very proud of herself. 

Her art class project was to draw herself.  What an amazing artist.

 

This was a lot to fit in in one month but she did it with grace and ease on top of doing well with her school responsibilities and performance.  She had several tests this month and did exceptional on all of them. 

 

She is a great student, hard worker and eager to please.
